Nicely made drop front revealing additional books and cubbies. Drawers, with solid brass hand pulls, also open. Doors have islinglass backing. Very fine dark mahogany finish. 1" scale. Total height to tippity top is 7 1/4". Label on bottom: "Made in Colombia." Very nice condition with no breaks or repairs. c. 1965. Sonia Messer, from California, owned a factory in Colombia, South America, where she had produced this popular line of furniture.
